Brianna Walker

Brianna Lynn Walker
May 31, 2001 - June 7, 2005
Brianna Lynn Walker was born on May 31, 2001. She was her parents' first child and she was their life. She was riding on horses since she was just a baby, and it soon became something that she enjoyed very, very much. One day, Brianna was riding her horse, Slug, and he started acting up. Brianna had ridden him many times, but his acting oddly did worry Brianna's parents a bit.
Brianna had been practicing riding her horse, and her mother took Brianna off of Slug and put her on the horse that she had been riding. It was decided that they would put the horses back in their stables and practice later, but Brianna begged and begged to practice now until her mother gave in and let her.
They were on the way to the arena, and Brianna was riding Slug again because he had started to act normal. On their way to the arena, they turned around to go back to the house because Brianna's mother said that she had to go to the bathroom.
They were nearing their home when their cat began following them. Their cat often followed them when they rode horses, so this wasn't unusual, but for some reason, on this day, the cat spooked Slug. Brianna's mother noticed this and she began to get off her horse to go and get Brianna off of Slug, but she didn't move fast enough.
Slug reared up and fell over backwards, landing right on Brianna. He quickly rolled off of her. Brianna's mother felt relieved when she saw that Brianna looked fine. She thought she was just knocked out, but when she picked up her little daughter, blood began flowing out of her mouth and nose.
Brianna's mother picked her up and ran to the house. When she reached the house, she called 911. After an ambulance was on its way, she called her family members for help. She knew they could get their quicker than the ambulance. Brianna had a pulse, but she wasn't breathing. Brianna's mother attempted to breathe for her by breathing into her mouth, but her pulse slowly got weaker and weaker before it stopped completely.
Brianna's mother began performing CPR on her, and finally, the ambulances arrived. The doctors began working on Brianna and Brianna's mother went to get Brianna's father who had been outside, not knowing that any of this had occurred. A helicopter landed in the field near Brianna's house and loaded her into it.
Brianna's family drove to the emergency room. They took her family into the counseling room and said that a surgeon would come in to talk to them soon. They were also told that by the time Brianna reached the hospital, she was attempting to breathe on her own, which was better than how her mother had last seen her, with only a weak pulse. This was followed by "...but her injuries were so severe that her heart couldn't keep up. She died a few minutes ago. I'm sorry."
Brianna's family held her, and sang to her. Her parents got her handprint, and her foot print. They also got to keep a lock of her light blonde hair.

Tristan Allegra

Tristan Michael Allegra
February 10, 2000 - December 25, 2008
Tristan Michael Allegra was born on February 10, 2000. His mother was Eryn Allegra. His mother was unemployed and she had little money. She had been contemplating suicide for months before Tristan's death, but it seemed like she didn't want to leave her son behind, so she began planning his death as well.
Eryn took her son to a Holiday Inn hotel on Christmas Eve. She fed him dinner and eight advil tablets, hoping that this would kill him. She became doubtful that the medication would kill her eight year old son, however, so she made a backup plan.
About two hours after Tristan fell asleep, his mother also smothered him with a pillow. She did this for about fifteen minutes, and at one point, Tristan woke up, his survival instincts kicking in, and he started to try and escape. His mother was stronger than him however, and she continued to smother him. She later told investigators that she "wanted to make sure that Tristan wasn't going to wake up and have some type of disability" due to the amount of medication she had given him.
After Tristan was dead, Eryn attempted to slit her wrists, but the blades were too dull, so she called 911. She was taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries, and then she was taken to jail and charged with first degree murder.

Kyra Aaralynn Zubah

Kyra Aaralynn Zubah
July 9, 2006 - November 10, 2009
Kyra Aaralynn Zubah was born on July 9, 2006. When she was just eleven weeks old, she was placed in a foster home due to her biological father being arrested for child abuse. She lived with Christine Atchinson until just four months before her death. Her little sister, Heaven, also lived with her and their foster mother, Christine.
Four months before her death, Kyra was taken out of Christine Atchinson's custody due to Christine allegedly attempting to fraudulently purchase prescription medication and the fact that it was believed to be in the best interest of children with Native American ancestry to be placed in tribal foster homes where they could learn about their heritage. Kyra was placed in the home of Sharon Whitecloud, along with her little sister, Heaven.
On November 7, 2009, Sharon took Kyra to the hospital after reportedly finding her unresponsive. She had a head injury. Doctors were suspicious when they found that Kyra had been taken to the hospital at least one hour and thirty minutes after she received the head injury, and multiple bruises on Kyra's body in various stages of healing. They suspected abuse.
Kyra had bleeding in her brain, and she was put on life support. She was soon declared brain dead, and taken off life support on November 10, 2009. Her death was investigated as a homicide and all four of the other children that lived with Sharon Whitecloud were removed from her custody.
Sharon Whitecloud was found guilty of second degree manslaughter. Sharon admitted to taking a sleeping pill which, according to her, caused her to drop Kyra on her head twice. It was also known that she had shaken little Kyra.
